. Oliva contributes to preserving the environment. The olive tree plays a fundamental role in the heritage and cultural identity of the Sabina villages. On these hills, olive groves, men and women , have intertwined their lives for centuries. The Frantoii have redesigned the identity of rural settlements, improving their quality of life, giving impetus to local realities and profitability that has come down to us. We have been witnessing the depopulation of the territory for some time, new forces are pouring out elsewhere, the olive groves observe us at times abandoned, in the hope that the their fruits continue to be for us all, our "GREEN GOLD".
I have contemplated this old olive tree for a long time
grown in arid land
folded and carved by the mistral wind
battered by storms and scorched by the scorching sun.
However, loaded with fruits, it gives fragrant oil
like someone who still lives after a hard life
giving confidence and creating hope.
